Through Fund III, we are continuing to invest in top venture capital funds, but we also have expanded our focus to include direct investment into Cincinnati-area startups.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Head of Network to build and maintain a network of mentors and advisors, develop relationships with top talent we can connect into our portfolio companies, and identify high-potential future founders who are committed to building transformational startups in Cincinnati. • Collaborate with portfolio companies to understand their talent requirements and provide strategic support in talent acquisition.

Entrepreneurial Ecosystem & Portfolio Community Building:

  • Develop and nurture a network of potential founders-in-residence, cultivating a pool of talented individuals ready to lead and launch new startup ventures.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among entrepreneurs, advisors, and mentors to strengthen the overall startup ecosystem in Cincinnati.

  • Strong understanding of the Cincinnati startup and business community and a passion for fostering the growth of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with entrepreneurs and operators at varying levels of experience.
  • Prior experience at a high-growth tech startup, either as a founder or an early employee; we are looking for someone who has been in the trenches and can bring a ton of empathy for the entrepreneurial journey to the role.
  • Has an innate ability to quickly build rapport, credibility, and trust with CEOs/Founders, as well as very accomplished tech leaders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and leverage opportunities for network expansion and ecosystem development.
