There was good news for UpTech graduate Travel Notes this week. The company announced it was acquired by Silicon Valley based refund.me. Travel Notes is an app that communicates users’ travel plans to financial institutions to prevent credit cards from being declined abroad. More good news came from CompleteSet this week. The company announced it raised a $500,000 round. Investment came from NKY based Connectic Ventures, KTECH Capital, Chrysalis Ventures and several individual angel investors. The University of Cincinnati also held the FUSE event at Union Hall this week. Over 500 students, investors and startups packed into the beer hall to hear about all the opportunities available in #StartupCincy. It was a great chance to network and make new connections with the young talent in our ecosystem.
