Nice to see a couple of our Cintrifuse members making local and national headlines this Friday morning!
Everything But The House is Ohio’s “top tech startup”
EBTH continues to break through and into the national conversation. This time around, CB insights named the online estate sale company the “top tech startup” in Ohio as determined by current funding totals.
That’s great company EBTH is keeping as a state’s top startup. The CB Insight report puts EBTH’s name right alongside giants such as Vox (Maryland), DraftKings (Massachusetts) and MagicLeap (Florida). If you want to read more, check out the full article here.
If you feel like you’ve been hearing EBTH’s name more often, you’re not wrong. Just a few months ago, Forbes was breaking the story of their latest round of funding in which they secured $41.5 million.
We expect to hear plenty more from EBTH in the near future…
Viaggi partnering with Cincinnati Metro in new Wi-Fi project
EBTH was not the only Cintrifuse member on the media’s radar in the past 24 hours. Viaggi cracked open the news on their big partnership with Cincinnati Metro late Thursday.
Viaggi – originally a travel brand aimed at keeping people connected, launching a case for tablets that included a backup battery and built-in Wi-Fi – will now start offering Wi-Fi on Metro buses.
Metro Wi-Fi is just the first step towards a much larger future rollout, according to CEO Nathan Ellis in the Cincinnati Business Courier write-up.
Just like EBTH, we expect to hear Viaggi’s name plenty more soon.
