HCDC held its first ever Business Showcase and Innovation Village this week. The event was a great opportunity to see some of #StartupCincy’s maker’s and creators. As well as startups in the tech and software space. It was fun to get a peek at some of the amazing companies coming out of the business incubator. We did a short recap of the event if you want to know more.
Also this week, Cintrifuse selected Sarah Anderson as the new Director of the Cintrifuse Syndicate Fund. Sarah joined the Syndicate fund team as a Principal in 2013. As Fund Director, Sarah will be responsible for managing the investments and engaging portfolio managers with the region to create relationships between funders, founders, and corporations. If you want to know more about Sarah, then check out TIm Schigel’s excellent blog post.
The Brandery made the news this week too. For the past 5 years the Cincinnati startup accelerator has been named among the top programs in the nation by the Seed Accelerator Rankings Project. Having scrapped the old numbering system, the organization gave The Brandery a gold ranking. See Andy Brownfield’s article in the Business Courier to read more.
Don’t forget to take a spin through the deck to see all the great stuff happening in our ecosystem.
