This week Frameri announced a partnership with the Japanese company Hoya Vision Care. The partnership allows independent eye practices that have accounts with Hoya to carry Frameri frames and open up the potential for international expansion. Also this week, First Batch announced its fourth annual product competition. Winners of the competition will receive up to $10,000 worth of assistance for manufacturing development, industrial work space and prototyping tools. UpTech also held their community grill out this week. #StartupCincy gathered in the accelerator’s Covington location for an afternoon of beer and brats. Despite some rain, it was a great time to catch up on what everyone in our community has been up to.
