CINCINNATI (September 11, 2018) – Cintrifuse is partnering with the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber to help the region’s startups unlock access to healthcare and the complete portfolio of Cincinnati Chamber benefits including talent programs and initiatives, government advocacy, cost-savings programs, marketing and networking opportunities, conference room access and more. These benefits may not have been attainable for some early-stage businesses. Thanks to a new offering from Cintrifuse and the Chamber, qualifying member startups will have the opportunity to join the Chamber at a more affordable, discounted rate for young and growing companies. To participate, startups must already be members of Cintrifuse.
The partnership is a first-of-its-kind for startups in the Cincinnati region, providing a competitive leg-up when tackling the complicated issues of building out a team, scaling operations, acquiring top-level talent in the area and providing necessary and highly attractive employee benefits.
“Help with healthcare benefits is, far-and-away, the top question I get from Cintrifuse members,” says Kellie Kuzmuk, Startup Success and Product Lead at Cintrifuse. “The Cincinnati Chamber’s willingness to offer an option like this to our local startups will serve as a key differentiator for the Cincinnati region as future startups look to find a city they’ll call ‘home.’”
Cincinnati Chamber members receive access to the Chamber’s talent programs, healthcare plans and special programs like Humana Go365 – where participants can earn savings of up to 15 percent on medical premiums. All of these services will be made available to Cintrifuse members joining through this special offer.
“To keep momentum behind Cincinnati’s already-strong ability to attract talent, we’re working and collaborating to further separate Cincinnati from the pack and give our region a bold voice for young businesses” says Beth McNeill, senior director of Sales & Engagement for the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber. “Cintrifuse came to us with this need from our community and the Chamber, in partnership with Humana, is fortunate to be in position to respond with an offering that makes Cincinnati an even better place to launch a startup.”
With the addition of discounted membership at the Cincinnati Chamber, Cintrifuse membership continues to offer a wide range of critical business development needs, which include access to funding connections, member-exclusive programming, curated connections to the Cintrifuse Active Network of corporations, subject matter experts, investors, startups and more.
“The Midwestern migration is on. The number of entrepreneurs relocating (or launching) their startup in between the coasts is no longer random,” says Eric Weissmann, VP of Communications, Community and Economic Inclusion at Cintrifuse. “We need to remain competitive as a region and differentiate Greater Cincinnati as a leader compared to its peer cities. Being just another affordable Midwestern town won’t cut it in the long run.”
Cintrifuse members who are not already members with the Chamber with 2-10 employees are able to join for a discounted rate of $125 per year (for the first two years of membership).
