This week Jake Knapp of Google Ventures partnered with Jan Rodgers, the founder of Time Timer, to market a special edition Time Timer with his new book “Sprint: How to Solve Big Problems and Test New Ideas in Just Five Days.” The company, started in 1987 as an idea on the back of a yellow legal pad, grew to $1 million ARR by 2006 and continues to grow today. The article shows how “makers, indie manufactures and design entrepreneurs are working to diversify and further ignite Cincinnati’s startup ecosystem” and focuses on the efforts of organizations like Cincinnati Made, First Batch, Hive 13 and The Manufactory. Tom + Chee got a mention in the nation press this week. Forbes Magazine ranked the company in the top ten best companies to come out of Shark Tank.
